Dr. Kang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas since Fall 2019.
Prior to UNLV, he was at Kennesaw State University and Texas A&M University-Commerce.
His research interests include Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Computer Vision, and Big Data Analytics.
He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 and 2015 respectively.
